More than just talk
By Linda Jovanovich

I’m hoping that all is well with you! While none of us are strangers to rough times, did we ever imagine this? To keep positive and hopeful, I’ve been reading, and wanted to share a few “bytes” that I’ve found to be inspirational.
- “While the world has been turned upside down and we’re all afraid for our health, our security, and our finances, we have been forced to pause and take our time. We have no recourse but to take time with our families; talk with our loved ones; read a book and play board games. There is a gift here, one that we should treasure while it lasts. Because all too soon, we will be back at the race of life.” (Bill Fuller, President, Big Burrito Restaurant Group)
- “As we endure the uncertainty and isolation due to COVID-19, enforced quiet and separation can reacquaint some of us with the value of peace. And while a pandemic can seem like the end, for those of us who are not sick, broke or homeless, it can also serve as a beginning.” (Richard Gunderman, Professor of Medicine, Liberals Arts, Philanthropy, Indiana University)
And lastly, I do not remember where I read this, but the author was speaking to 'rough times' when he said, “It is how you face them, and the guidance you seek out and receive along the way, that makes the difference.” (Wise Man!)
I hope that you and yours are safe and well. And I look forward to better times for us all! Plan on being in Nashville for the National Conference and Expo, and together, let’s step into what the experts are calling “the new business era.” I feel certain that we’ll benefit greatly from each other’s guidance.
