These design/build professionals—who specialize in creating outdoor living spaces—explore the “how and why” of choosing cypress.

Spotlight on Cypress from Media Associates
Here’s an interesting read! "A Lake House in Michigan," an article by Wendy Silverstein, contributor to Ask The Expert blog on HardwoodInfo.com, features a lake home with cypress exterior that has undergone shou sugi ban, the traditional Japanese method of charring wood. “The charred and sealed cypress lends a timeless, almost prehistoric aura to what is a thoroughly modernist structure.” Read all about it, here.
