Education is an ongoing requirement for the Design/Build community. And to inform that all-important audience about the performance features and environmental advantages of Thermally Modified Hardwood, HMA has engaged the assistance of America Training Solutions (ATS).
Through ATS, our updated Continuing Education Learning Unit (CEU), “Thermally Modified Hardwood and its Role in Architectural Design,” is available as a live Seminar Webcast. The most recent webinar, September 23 - Cleveland, Ohio, had 47 participating architects. Special thanks to CEU presenter, Layne Lynam, Atlanta Hardwood Corporation, Mableton, Georgia.
As a point of information, the CEU:
- Is approved by the American Institute of Architects/Continuing Education System (AIA/CES,) International Design Continuing Education Council Inc. (IDCEC) and Association of Licensed Architects (ALA).
- Earns one Health-Safety-Welfare (HSW) Learning Unit for participating architects and a 0.1 Health-Safety-Welfare CEU credit for ASID, IDC, IDEC and IIDA participants.
- Is registered with the USGBC, making it available to LEED professionals.
