On the agenda for Thursday in Nashville
HMA’s 2020 National Conference and Expo, August 19-21 at the JW Marriott Nashville, is fast approaching. And true to the HMA modus operandi, the Conference agenda items include not-to-be-missed, industry specific presentations, and much more.
Don’t be late for the Conference’s Thursday morning, on point learning sessions. By no means will “Lost in Translation–Your benchmarking GPS to Profitability,” “Advocacy and Representation,” and “Operations and Technology SoundBytes,” disappoint. Rather, they’ll aptly set the stage for these two afternoon, information-intense sessions:
- “Hardwood Market Trends” What should we expect regarding market projections for the remainder of 2020 and beyond? You’ll want to be on hand as Michael Snow, American Hardwood Export Council Executive Director, and David Caldwell, Assistant Editor, Hardwood Market Report, discuss American Hardwoods on the global stage, and American Hardwood industrial markets, respectively.
- “Today’s Top Priorities” Just like last year, the 2020 National Conference agenda includes a “Today’s Top Priorities” session. This year’s presentation will spotlight the Real American Hardwood Promotion Coalition (RAHPC), and provide information regarding RAHPC’s work to date, and what’s next for this industry-wide initiative.
On tap for Thursday evening
What’s the perfect way to end an action-packed business day? The ticket for most of us is relaxation, cooling refreshments and quality time with colleagues and friends. To that end, HMA’s NextGen Leaders Council has stepped to the ‘hospitality’ plate. They’ll be hosting the Thursday evening Reception and Expo.
Join them for some well-deserved R & R, plus take this opportunity to browse the Expo. Forty one of the industry’s best suppliers plan to be front and center, at your disposal and ready to assist you in your planning for the future.
All of the National Conference and Expo details can be found at www.HMAmembers.org. See you in Nashville.
