Workplace safety is everyone’s business. And the OSHA Education Center is making safety training a whole lot easier for both employers and their valued employees. All that’s needed is an iPhone, tablet or other mobile device. The training is 100 percent online!
About the courses
- Designed to teach workplace safety and reduce jobsite hazards, the Center offers a 10-hour training course, typically sufficient for many entry-level workers. The Center’s 30-hour training program is “recommended for supervisors, site leads or managers who will have any sort of safety responsibility. Additional benefits of OSHA 30-Hour Training include understanding workers' rights, employer responsibilities and more.”
- No books or other materials are required to complete the courses. Every student “has access to a real-life trainer via email at all times, and a U.S.-based customer support team is on standby and available 24/7 to promptly address” technical issues. Approximately 180 days are allotted to complete the online training.
- No need to take time away from work. The training is 100 percent online, accommodating any work schedule. And the courses are divided into sections, allowing the learner to progress through training at his or her own pace. Convenient and stress-free!
- “Upon successful completion of the 10-hour or 30-hour OSHA Outreach courses, students will receive an official OSHA card from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). In addition, all graduates receive an official Certificate of Completion.”
